Departure from Tashkent

My program experience as an exchange student began with a 20-hour flight from Tashkent to Chicago. The journey was long, but the excitement of what was to come kept me going. I was so excited to explore a new country and learn about its culture. I couldn't wait to meet the people I would be living and learning with. It was a great opportunity to expand my knowledge and gain valuable experience. I was ready to take on the new adventure that awaited me.

Arriving to Istanbul

My program experience as an exchange student began with an exciting arrival to Istanbul to change planes and continue my international transfer to Chicago. I was filled with anticipation as I stepped off the plane and into the bustling airport. Everything was new and exciting, from the unfamiliar languages to the vibrant cultures.

Arriving to Chicago

Upon arrival to Chicago, the excitement of my first day as an exchange student was palpable. After a 20-hour journey from my home in Tashkent, I felt a sense of relief and anticipation as I stepped off the plane and into the bustling airport. As I took in the sights and sounds of a new place, I couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed but excited to finally be here and begin this new journey.

My new home-Muncie!

After a long flight, I finally arrived at my new home for the semester, Muncie, Indiana and the beautiful campus of Ball State University. It was a surreal feeling to finally be there, and I was overcome with excitement and anticipation for all the things I would experience during my time as an exchange student. I couldn't wait to meet all my new friends and explore all that Muncie had to offer. I felt so lucky to have been chosen for this amazing opportunity, and I was ready to make the most of it.
